I’m having trouble with my gold cube stand. The stand seemed to work pretty well when it was just the gold cube itself, however I recently purchased the trommel for the gold cube and the stand doesn’t seem to hold the weight very well. The legs are constantly slipping and needing to be readjusted in order to keep it level. It would appear to me that a new method for clamping the legs tighter is needed to support the weight of the trommel and your shovel full of material. The little threaded bracket that is welded onto the stand, which receives the thumb screw, just bows out as I tighten the thumbs screw down and I believe that’s the weak point, and it seems to be getting worse ad worse each time I use it. I don’t know how much longer mine is going to last before the welds break and my stand is no longer usable at all. I’m constantly having to readjust the legs and the little thumb screws make tightening the legs painful. It’s definitely disappointing to spend so much money on all of this equipment to have the stand make it frustrating and unusable. Aside from the stand issues, the gold cube and the trommel seem to work amazingly well!

In some of our earlier stands, the weld-nuts were welded on the long ends but now they are welded on the sides next to the hole. Which do you have? We are working on a system to retro fit all of our stands into a stronger leg hold with less effort. We will keep you informed. Mike
